Reflections on the Dissertation ‘Economic Efficiency of Outsourcing in Logistics Management’, Awarded a Distinction in the ARP S.A. Competition

This article reflects on a master’s thesis entitled ‘Economic Efficiency of Outsourcing in Logistics Management’ by Mariusz Łabuś, which was defended in September 2025 at the Department of Logistics, Ignacy Mościcki University of Applied Sciences in Ciechanów, Mława Branch. The thesis was supervised by Mirosław K. Szpakowski, PhD, an assistant professor at the university, who specialises in
teaching courses in logistics management, entrepreneurship, economics, and related fields. The author, in turn, is a specialist and practitioner in the digitalisation of warehouse and supply chain management in large enterprises. He is a logistics manager at LX Pantos Poland Sp. z o.o. The combination of these competencies resulted in a master’s thesis that was awarded a distinction in the 2025 national competition for the best master’s thesis, in the category of Leadership and Modern Forms of Work Organisation in Industry 4.0.
