Negotiation competences of Masovian forwarders

Abstract

Negotiations are an indispensable element of any business activity. A properly conducted negotiation process is one of the most important factors determining the success of the project and maintaining correct relations in the economic sphere. The article focuses on the analysis of negotiating competences of freight forwarders employed by Mazovian transport companies. Conducting negotiations is closely related to having the ability to exert infl uence. For the purposes of the article, it was assumed that the degree of negotiation competence may be conditioned by professional experience. In addition, it was assumed that the awareness of the degree of ability to exert infl uence by shippers may vary depending on the person evaluating them.
